Unlike a traditional European pear that must be harvested before ripe, Crisp 'n Sweet ripens on the tree in mid-August. Crisp 'n Sweet trees are a breeze to grow and have a strong resistance to fire blight. The frost-tolerant blooms make it a very reliable producer. Crisp 'n Sweet is a Green Jade cultivar. 700-800 chill hours are required for a successful harvest. Zones 5-7.
